Video Publisher Tool ("the app") is a personal utility operated by its owner for publishing videos to the owner's own YouTube channels. This policy describes what information the app accesses and how it is handled.
Information the app accesses
Through the YouTube Data API and Google OAuth 2.0, the app may access:
- YouTube channel information — basic details of channels the owner has connected, used to direct uploads to the correct channel.
- Video upload capability — the ability to upload video files and set their title, description, tags, and privacy status, only when the owner initiates an upload.
- OAuth tokens — access and refresh tokens issued by Google that authorize the above actions. These are stored securely by the owner and used solely to perform authorized uploads.
How information is used
All accessed information is used exclusively to upload and manage videos on the owner's own YouTube channels at the owner's direction. The app does not analyze, profile, or make automated decisions about any individual.
Sharing and disclosure
The app does not sell, rent, or share any accessed information with third parties. Information is disclosed only if required by law or to comply with a valid legal obligation.
Data storage and security
OAuth tokens and related credentials are stored in a secure, access-controlled environment operated by the owner. Reasonable technical measures are used to protect them against unauthorized access.
Data retention
Authorization tokens are retained only for as long as needed to maintain the owner's connected channels. The owner may revoke the app's access at any time via Google account settings, which immediately stops all further API access.
Children's privacy
The app is not directed at children and is not offered as a public service. It is used solely by its adult owner.
